The Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors is seeking sealed bids for the removal of up to 50 trees from various locations within Oktibbeha County. This initiative aims to keep the county safe and enhance the local environment.
All interested bidders can check the plans, specifications, and other details absolutely free of charge. Interested parties can visit the office of the Road Manager, located at 309 Industrial Park Road, Starkville, for all relevant information.
Sealed bids will be accepted until 9 AM on Thursday, October 31st, 2024. After all bids are collected, they will be opened and read aloud at 10 AM on the same day in the Board of Supervisors Room at 101 E. Main Street, Starkville.
Bids should be clearly marked as “SEALED BIDS FOR TREE REMOVAL” and must be date and time-stamped by the clerk to ensure consideration.
Bidders should comply with all relevant rules set forth by the Mississippi Code and follow the regulations of the Mississippi Commission of Budget and Accounting to maintain transparency and fairness in the process.
The Board reserves the right to make changes to the specifications as needed and has the authority to reject any and all bids.
