The City of Starkville is accepting sealed bids for its Tree Maintenance Services.
Bids need to be submitted by 2:00 PM local time on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. You can drop off your bids at the Office of the City Clerk located at City Hall, 110 West Main Street, Starkville, Mississippi 39759. You can also submit your proposals online by visiting www.cityofstarkvilleplans.org.
The specifics of the contract and all necessary documents can be obtained by reaching out via email at s.kachelman@cityofstarkville.org or by calling 662-323-2525. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate and adhere to the guidelines provided in the Project Manual.
A certified check or bank draft for $2500 is required. This acts as a guarantee that if your bid is accepted, you’re ready to enter into a contract and secure its performance.
All submissions must meet the requirements found in Chapters 3 and 5 of Title 31 of the Mississippi Code of 1972. Once you’ve placed your bid, it can’t be withdrawn for thirty days without getting the city’s written approval.
The bid opening will take place in the City Clerk Conference Room on the first floor of City Hall. Anyone interested is welcome to attend this public event.
The City of Starkville maintains the right to accept or reject any bids. The goal is to find the bid that aligns most favorably with the city’s vision.
