This lively event started on Saturday and promises to promote both community camaraderie and healthy lifestyle choices among residents. Whether you’re a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just looking for a fun way to get moving, there’s something for everyone.
Registration Open Until April 12
If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time! Registration is open until April 12. Joining the challenge requires a small $10 entry fee for online registration, and it sure is worth the investment! Once registered, participants will receive a link to the WellBeing app. This nifty app allows you to track those precious steps, whether you’re using a device like a FitBit or an Apple Watch. Don’t have a fitness tracker? Not a problem! You can request a pedometer to help you keep count.
Join a Team or Start Your Own
The challenge encourages participants to form teams and compete based on your group size. Teams can range from small (3-7 members), to mid-size (8-15 members), and large (16 or more members). The goal is to average the highest number of steps over a fabulous six-week period. You can either join an already-formed team or create a brand-new one with your friends!
