More than 650 dedicated staff members came together to celebrate the district’s outstanding achievement of an A-rating, officially announced by the Mississippi Department of Education back in September. This rating wasn’t just a number; it symbolized the incredible hard work and commitment that everyone involved has poured into their roles in education, arts, and athletics.
One of the highlights of the event was a stirring speech from Reverend Jessie King, a celebrated figure known for his role as the Superintendent of the Leland School District.
