First up, let’s talk about Christmas! Starkville city offices will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday to let everyone enjoy some time with family and friends. Meanwhile, if you have business to conduct at the Oktibbeha County offices, keep in mind they will take a break on Wednesday and Thursday.
New Year’s Hours
As we ring in the New Year, the holiday spirit continues! Starkville city offices will be closed on January 1, allowing staff a chance to recover from the New Year’s celebrations. Oktibbeha County will observe a two-day closure, shutting their doors on December 31 and January 1.
Garbage Collection Changes
Now, let’s not forget about garbage collection during this busy season. The Starkville Sanitation Department will also take a break to celebrate Christmas. They will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, and regular garbage collection will resume on Thursday. Only Thursday’s route will be collected that day.
