Starkville is buzzing with the news of a fantastic new addition to the College View area! Mississippi Ice Daiquiri Shop is all set to open its doors in the vibrant corner spot of the College View complex, making it the second location for the popular daiquiri brand. The Mississippi Ice was first launched in Brookhaven about a year ago, and, thanks to its overwhelming success, it was time to bring some of that Cajun flair to Starkville.
The connection to Starkville runs deeper than just business; with two daughters living in the area, it’s believed that the perfect location at College View has been found. The new bar will be situated in the “Leisure and Recreation District,” which means folks can grab a delicious daiquiri to-go and stroll around the lovely Cotton District. Starkville seems to be quickly becoming one of the owner’s favorite spots, as the commitment to the area grows.
The timing is just right for this project. There’s an expectation for something different, filling a need in Starkville that could surprise many. It’s envisioned as a nice venue with nice vibes.
The target opening date for Mississippi Ice is set for February 1, just in time for baseball season. The bar will feature a spacious layout of approximately 3,400 square feet indoors and a 1,000 square-foot patio. Patrons can look forward to nine daiquiri machines serving a variety of frozen and mixed drinks. The menu is also set to include delicious seafood options, with boiled crawfish making a springtime appearance. Music lovers will find a stage dedicated to live performances!
Construction is expected to kick off in the coming weeks, and there is an active search for staff to fill various positions, including managers, bartenders, cooks, and security personnel. Interested candidates are welcome to send resumes to [email protected].
Once opened, Mississippi Ice will be welcoming guests during the following hours:
