That is a big reason why I chose Mississippi State.” Having that familiarity made his transition feel more comfortable, and it’s always nice to see players go where they know they’ll fit in!

After his visit to Starkville, Smith couldn’t shake off the charm of the town. “It’s different,” he said with a smile. “Every change is going to be a little bit different. I think it’s a good different. I am excited to be down there in ‘Stark Vegas,’ as they say.
