STARKVILLE, Miss. — The holiday season is officially in full swing as Starkville opens its doors to the much-anticipated annual Holiday Bazaar! This cheerful shopping extravaganza kicked off at the Mill at MSU and runs through the weekend. With 75 incredible vendors displaying a fabulous array of goodies, shoppers are in for a treat!
From homemade crafts to stunning jewelry and fashionable clothing, this year’s bazaar features something for everyone. Visitors can stroll through aisles filled with unique items that make perfect holiday gifts, or perhaps something special for themselves!
The two-day event is not just about shopping; it’s a joyful celebration of community. Thousands of enthusiastic shoppers are expected to flock to the event, making it a bustling hub of holiday cheer. The entry fee is a modest $8 for one day or $10 to enjoy both days, with all proceeds going to support the Starkville Main Street Association.
“It’s incredible,” shared a dedicated volunteer at the Holiday Bazaar. “We’ve got so many booths with all the different Christmas items to get everybody in the mood for the holiday shopping time this time of year. Plus, it’s a great fundraiser for the partnership and the downtown business association.”
The energy at the bazaar is contagious. It’s a chance for the community to come together, reconnect, and celebrate not just the season but also local artisans and businesses. One vendor expressed excitement about seeing many people from the community, including friends and other artists and vendors. It’s just a super fun part of this.
The Holiday Bazaar will be open until 7 p.m. tonight and will reopen at 10 a.m. tomorrow, giving plenty of time to explore all the fantastic offerings.
