Starkville is buzzing with excitement as the Starkville High School Baseball Booster Club gets ready to host a four-person scramble golf tournament fundraiser! If you’re a fan of sports, community, or just want to enjoy a day outdoors, this promises to be an engaging event.
The tournament will take place at the beautiful Mississippi State University Golf Course in Starkville. It kicks off at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start, but participants should arrive early for a complimentary lunch served at noon. For a team entry fee of $500, teams can enjoy a day on the greens while supporting a great cause.
Winners will have the chance to take home $800 for first place, $600 for second, and $400 for third place. There will also be special challenges throughout the event, including a heckle hole, a wood bat substitution, and a one-club challenge hole. These challenges add a fun twist and test skills in unique ways!
All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Jacket baseball team as they prepare for the upcoming 2025 season. Fundraisers like this one help provide the resources needed for equipment, travel, and other essential expenses.
The Booster Club is also looking for sponsors to help make this event even bigger and better! Several sponsorship options are available:
Support will enhance the experience of the tournament and assist the Jacket team in various aspects.
Participation can be easily completed online. For any questions or additional information, reach out to Seth O’Nan at 662-418-1000 or via email.
