MSU Seminar Explores Spray Drone Regulations, Research

In a bid to promote understanding about the application of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in row crop spraying, Mississippi State University (MSU) has invited the industry and interested public to a specially themed seminar scheduled in Starkville.

A Platform for Innovation and Understanding

The event, named MSU Spray Drone/UAS Seminar, will take place on Oct. 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Bost Extension Center. Ensuring maximum participation, the seminar will be both physically presented and transmitted online.

Highlighted topics for the seminar will include the most recent regulatory modifications, the approved Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spray drone roster, and the contemporary as well as potential drone restrictions.
