The reasons for Farmer’s removal were not explicitly disclosed, with supervisors citing the matter as a “personnel issue.” While some supervisors described the action as Farmer resigning, Trainer strongly disagreed, labeling it as a termination and expressing disappointment in the board’s decision-making process.

Despite the abrupt change, the supervisors are moving forward by planning to advertise for a new county administrator soon.
