Clay County Nightclub Murder Suspect’s Bond Set

In a shocking incident that took place in Clay County, a man faced court for his alleged involvement in the fatal shooting at the Oasis Lounge nightclub. The suspect, 23-year-old Tyler Brooks of Macon, made his first court appearance, where Justice Court Judge Thomas Hampton set his bond at $1.6 million.

On March 3, chaos ensued at the popular Oasis Lounge where multiple gunshots were fired, resulting in one death and injuring an additional 12 patrons. The unfortunate victim who lost his life in this violent episode was 20-year-old Talesse Chandler. Tyler Brooks has been charged with one count of first-degree murder, contributing to $1 million of the bond, and 12 counts of aggravated assault, completing the remaining $600,000 part of the bond.
