In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old man identified as Brandon Hudson was taken into custody on Wednesday for allegedly cutting a woman during a heated argument on Carver Drive, Starkville. Hudson is currently facing charges of aggravated assault following the escalation of an initially verbal dispute into a physical confrontation.
The assault allegedly occurred around 4 a.m. in the yard of a residence on Carver Drive. As the argument amplified, Hudson reportedly drew a knife, resulting in the woman getting cut. Authorities were alerted to the scene, following which the suspect was taken into custody. The Starkville Police Department revealed that Hudson was an acquaintance of the victim prior to the incident.
As per the latest reports, Hudson’s bond has not been established and he is currently being held at the Oktibbeha County Jail. His court hearing is expected to take place soon.
