Harbor Freight to Open New Location in Starkville

Harbor Freight, a leading tool and equipment retailer is planning to set up a new store in Starkville, marking an exciting addition to the city’s thriving commercial sector. This announcement comes after a building permit application was lodged, which is currently under review.

The California-based retailer is set to replace the outgoing Home Store Furnishings at 311 Hwy. 12 W. in the Middleton Court shopping center. The Harbor Freight brand now boasts of more than 1,500 locations across the nation and offers an incredible array of more than 7,500 tools and products, making it a critical hub for weekend warriors seeking to ramp up their toolkits.

Business Changes within Starkville

In other business updates, 929 Coffee Bar served its last latte at 106 E. Main St. on Saturday. However, loyal customers can look forward to the café’s return as it gears up to move to a new, yet-to-be-announced location.

The Breakfast Club (TBC) has also announced their move back to their original location at 105 Eckford Drive, having recently closed its Research Park outlet. Going forward, TBC will extend its services to seven days a week to accommodate breakfast and lunch customer needs.

The former occupant of 105 Eckford Drive, The Joint, has indicated a move to the Jackson area, promising a reopening in the Ridgeland area by next summer.

Xover0 on the Big Screen

Additionally, local jewelry brand, Xover0, is set to make waves in Hollywood, with one of the company’s signature necklaces to feature in the upcoming Netflix film, “Uglies”.
